Frequently asked questions
Short answers to what we're asked most: buying and delivery, returns, the Showroom and bespoke designs.
1Orders and payment
How can I pay?
Payment is online, through ZarinPal's secure gateway, with any card on the Shetab network. You enter your card details on the gateway itself; they never reach us.
Can I shop without an account?
You can add pieces to your cart without signing in; the cart stays in this browser. To pay, sign in with your mobile number: the first sign-in with a code sent by text opens your account, and your cart comes with you.
Why do prices change?
Most pieces are priced from the day's gold rate and change with it. The price you see when you pay is fixed for your order.
If a piece says today's price is being updated, check back shortly; it can't be bought until then.
How long are my pieces held once I go to the gateway?
30 minutes. If the payment wasn't completed, you can press "Pay again" on the order's page within that time. After it, the order is cancelled and the pieces return to stock.
Money left my account but the order isn't paid. What now?
If the payment didn't reach the order, the bank usually returns the amount within 72 hours. If it doesn't, contact us with the order number.
Where do I enter a discount code?
In checkout's last step, "Review and pay", under "Discount code". A code comes off the pieces' price, not off shipping.
Can I cancel my order?
Until it is paid, you can cancel it yourself from your orders page. Once paid, contact us as soon as you can; an order already sent goes through withdrawal and returns.
2Shipping and delivery
How is my order sent?
Orders are sent securely packed, by post, Tipax or courier; we choose how. The shipping cost is shown in your cart before you pay.
How do I track my order?
Each order's page shows its steps: placed, paid, being prepared, shipped and delivered. Once it is sent, the carrier and tracking code are written there too.
Do you ship outside Iran?
For now the Shop delivers to addresses in Iran only. If you're abroad, write to us and we'll find a way.
What if my parcel arrives damaged?
Look at the parcel before you sign. If it is damaged or has been opened, refuse it and tell us the same day.
3Returns and warranty
Can I change my mind?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery and without giving a reason. The piece must come back unworn and undamaged, in its original packaging, with its invoice and its certificate or guarantee card.
Pieces engraved or resized at your request can't be returned unless they have a fault in their making.
How does a return work?
Contact us before you send a piece back. Once it arrives and the workshop has looked at it, the amount is returned to the card you paid with. If a piece reached you with a fault, sending it back is at our cost.
What is the warranty?
Davarzani creations carry a lifetime warranty. If something goes wrong with a piece, contact us with its invoice or guarantee card and the workshop will look at it.
4The Showroom and bespoke
How can I buy a Showroom piece?
Showroom pieces aren't sold online. On a piece's page, choose the gold colour and stone you'd like and press "Ask about this piece"; the piece and your choice go with your message, and our answer comes to your account.
What does "Price on request" mean?
Some Showroom pieces have no price on the site. Ask about the piece and we'll write its price in the conversation.
How do I have a piece made for me?
Start a new request in "My requests": describe your idea and, if you have them, send up to four photos or sketches. Our answer, with a price, comes in that request, and the conversation carries on there. Once we agree, the piece is made by hand in the Davarzani workshop.
Does sending a request commit me to buy?
No. Each request is a conversation between you and us. Making begins only once we have agreed on the design, the time and how to pay.
Where do I see the answer to my request?
In "My requests" in your account. Whenever we write, a mark appears by the account icon at the top of the site.
Can I see the pieces in person?
Our address and visiting hours are on the contact page. Call before you come, so we can have the piece you'd like to see ready.
5The pieces
Will the piece look exactly like its photograph?
Davarzani pieces are made by hand, and a piece's colour, weight or details may differ slightly from its photograph.
Where can I see the weights and the stones?
On each piece's page, under "Specifications": the total and gold weights, and the stones with their count, weight and grading. Where a stone has a certificate, its laboratory and number are there too.
How do I choose the right size?
A product's sizes are on its page. If you don't know yours, call our advisers before you buy.
6Your account
How do I sign in or open an account?
With your mobile number: with a password, or with a code sent by text. The first sign-in with a code opens an account for that number.
I've forgotten my password.
On the sign-in page, press "Forgot your password?". You sign in with a code sent by text and set a new password; your other devices are signed out.
Do I need to enter a national ID?
No, the national ID is optional; you can add it in your profile at any time.
Where is my wishlist kept?
Save any piece with the heart. Until you sign in, the list stays in this browser and moves to your account when you do; you'll find it under "Wishlist".
